The government has finally made a U-turn this week to correct the much reported problems it created with A-level and GCSE results.

Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham threatened legal action against the government if they did not opt to scrap the computer-based algorithm. This came after concerns for pupils treated unfairly in the Manchester area. According to Education Secretary Gavin Williamson the position of B-Techs may still be in the balance.
