Police were called to the scene in Belle Vue at around 7am this morning.
A man has died after a collision in Belle Vue, Greater Manchester.
Police were called to Hyde Road, close to the junction with Redgate Lane, at around 7am to reports of a collision with a Peugeot 208 and a motorbike.
Emergency services attempted to treat the driver of the motorbike before he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Peugeot has also been taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Road closures are in place and the public are being advised to to avoid the area where possible.

PC Paul Hailwood from Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: ” “I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of the man who has died this morning; my thoughts are with them at this terrible time.
“We are currently working at the scene to establish exactly what has happened and I would ask that anybody who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage please contact the police.”
