The UK’s first non surgical MedSpa has opened at MediaCityUK by a star of the T.V. show ‘Botched’.
Dr Paul Nassif, a celebrity facial and reconstructive plastic surgeon famed for his work on the show ‘Botched’, opened the Spa last Thursday.
MedSpa will provide non surgical procedures, including; antiwrinkle injections and dermal fillers, the same as Dr Nassif’s clinic in Beverly Hills.
MediaCityUK was chosen as the location of the first spa as the demand for non-surgical cosmetic procedures is growing faster in the North West than anywhere else in the UK.
However the regulations are not as good as those in other countries so the MedSpa hope to tackle that with the trustworthiness of Dr Nassif.
Dr Nassif’s Mnachester Business partner Amanda Richardson said: “The UK is slowly normalizing and accepting aesthetic treatments and is slowly catching up with cosmetic surgery in the way that America is.
“But we realised there isn’t a well known, trusted name in the industry.
“There’s a lot of unregulation in the UK at the moment so we are seeing so many people making poor decisions and people going to practitioners that aren’t fully trained or insured. We realised that DR Nassif is a big name in the industry.
“We wanted to bring a trusted name to the UK where people can come and feel safe and looked after”
On top of the MedSpa, Dr Nassif is also bringing his skincare line, NassifMD Dermaceuticals, where it will be exclusively sold at the MedSpa.
Amanda added: “Following the success of our MediaCityUK MedSpa we plan to roll-out the concept in cities across the UK with London earmarked to be the location for the next one.”
