Beth Wakefield created The Wakey Bakery after discovering her passion for baking sweet goods started during her food technology course in college. Since then, she left her job as a teaching assistant and followed her dream of creating the sweet treat bakery, The Wakey Bakery.
The Swinton based bakery opened its doors on November 20, 2020, after becoming a lockdown business success since then, Wakefield has accomplished sold-out days and local popularity .
The Christmas period is a big time for The Wakey Bakery after Christmas 2020 being sold out till late Christmas Eve. This year, Wakefield has released the perfect stocking fillers of gift cards and children’s Christmas Eve boxes including personalised letters from Santa, a nice list certification and Reindeer food, Brownie or blondie & old school fingers & Christmas treats.

In addition to the Christmas Eve boxes, sweet tooth lovers can order Christmas cupcakes, cheesecakes, trifles and brownies or a blondies share box all in time for Christmas.
Talented Wakefield and her team also create larger cakes fit for the perfect occasions such as birthdays and events.
