The full program for the highly anticipated music festival, ‘Sounds From the Other City’ has been released, with just seven weeks to go until its launch.

With over two years since it was last held, it is finally making its comeback with a truly: “electrifying bill”.

Adding to the roster that already included, GNOD, Katy J Pearson and Lovescene, their welcoming Queer Latifa, Pip Blom, Highschool and TYSON and many more.

Highly prestigious and respected music publication NME have described the event: “Sounds From the Other City itself is the truest representation of what Manchester music is today” and if that doesn’t get people excited enough, the extremely musically diverse festival hits Salford’s streets this May.

The festival will be arriving at many venues across Salford, such as The Old Pint Pot, Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse, Adelphi House Car Park, Bexley Square, Five Four Studios, Partisan Collective and many more.

For those who like to keep the night young, the festival includes after party events, with acts such as Bohemian Grove, Me Gusta, Regal Disco, Piano in the City and Freak Queer Disco carrying everyone’s festival experience into the early hours.

It isn’t just music that covers the fantastic rota for the festival, with the addition of artists including, M a t e k o i A/v Installation, Carriage Return, Compact Disco by things that go on things, Dogs with Jobs, Lurid Ultra Hybrid presents last Beach and several more.

The multi-venue event has been dubbed: “an enthralling depiction of the music and arts scene, and one that should continue for many more decades to come” by the MEN (Manchester Evening News).

The first round of tickets (tier 1) have sold out, but the second tier tickets are now on sale for £35.45 with the ticket described as “missing the support” so the lucky few who have already got the first round of tickets, wont miss an act.
