Salford City have unveiled the new orange home kit they will wear for their upcoming League Two campaign.

The kit launch comes nearly 10 months after 77 per cent of Ammies fans chose to revert the primary club colour to orange, ditching the familiar red brought in when the Class of 92 group took over in 2014.

It also follows a change of ownership as a consortium spearheaded by Gary Neville and David Beckham bought out the rest of the Class of 92 to take over the club in May.

Former England captain Beckham said: “Bringing Salford’s original orange kit back felt right – for the fans, for the club, and for anyone who, like me, has been influenced by the incredible people and community of Salford. I can’t wait to see the new colour on the pitch and in the stands this season.”

The new-look orange shirt appears to follow a similar design template to other Adidas releases this summer and features a revamped club badge voted for by supporters.

Salford’s return to an orange shirt with a sleek black trim means the Ammies will kick off the new season in the traditional colours worn by the club for 40 years before the Class of 92 takeover.

To make sure as many fans as possible turn the Peninsula Stadium orange when Salford return to competitive action against Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup first round on Saturday, many supporters will be able to pick up the new kit free of charge.

Fans who held season tickets and purchased the 2024/25 or 2025/26 red home shirt will be able to claim the shirt for free at the Salford City FC Club Shop as a thank you for their loyal support.

The vibrant new home shirt is available to buy from the club shop.
