Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information regarding an assault on two girls in Eccles from June this year.
At approximately 12.30am on Sunday June 19th the two girls got into a silver people carrier taxi after leaving a bar in Monton to go home.
The victims are suspected to have also been spiked.
They then recall waking up at one of the victim’s home addresses with multiple injuries but with no memory of how they received them.
It’s suggested the girls travelled only a few hundred meters in the taxi before exiting and getting into a black Mercedes with a couple.
Police are appealing for information from the taxi driver of the silver people carrier who picked up and dropped the victims off on Monton Road. And both the driver and passenger of the black Mercedes who then collected the two victims.
The GMP are also asking for anyone who was out that night and saw the two girls, those who may have CCTV or dash cam footage or any further information that may assist their investigation to get in touch on 0161 856 5168 or 101.
