The critically-acclaimed show Ocean at the End of the Lane is set to return to The Lowry this October.

Following a successful four-week run at The Lowry last year, five-star smash-hit production The Ocean at the End of the Lane returns to Salford from Wednesday 4 – Saturday 7 October.

Directed by Camp Siegfried’s, Katy Rudd, the three-time Olivier-nominated play which was adapted from graphic novelist, Neil Gaiman’s 2013 book of the same name, is The National Theatre’s largest production since the pandemic.

The Ocean at the End of the Lane follows the story of a man who returns to his childhood home, sparking the magic of memory and naivety.

Gaiman’s work includesThe Sandman series, Stardust and Coraline. The Ocean at the End of the Lane was the winner of the Book of the Year at the 2013 National Book Awards and has sold more than 1.2 million copies worldwide.
