Swinton Lions were beaten 84-6 by London Broncos at Heywood Road.
Scrum half Jimmy Meadows scored 28 of the points as the away side ran in fifteen tries to claim a huge victory over the luckless Lions.
Remarkably, Swinton Lions took the lead inside the opening minute when great play down the left side finished with Tom Ratchford finishing off the move on the left and Reece Briers converted.
Broncos started to come stronger, but the Lions’ defence was holding out well until Meadows found a gap to score by the posts on thirteen minutes and added the conversion.
Liam Tindall then finished off a move in the corner midway through the half but there was no conversion as the away side went in front.
Aaron Willis was held up for the Lions on twenty-seven minutes, and this seemed to spark the Broncos as they cut loose with three tries in six minutes, with Morea Morea grabbing a brace and Finly Glare darting from halfback to score under the posts and Meadows added the conversion to all three.
With less than a minute to go to until the break Broncos got a penalty and from this some rapid passing saw Luke Smith score on the right but Meadows was unable to convert from the touchline as the hooter followed just afterwards.
Broncos knocked on at the restart, but the Lions then lost the ball in the next tackle to put them on the attack and Tindall added his second after brushing through some tackles and Meadows converted off the touchline.
Morea Morea added his third within four minutes of the restart, again converted by Meadows. Lions had another good chance from the restart, but again lost the ball and Neil Tchamambe finished off a nice move in the corner, converted by Meadows to bring up the fifty points.
Again, good line pressure by the Lions with Cameron Bate being grounded just short of the line. From the next set Broncos went downfield, and Brandon Webster-Mansfield went in from close range, but this conversion was missed. He scored a second six minutes later when he broke free to score by the posts with Meadows converting.
Broncos then cut loose again in the final fifteen minutes, with More Morea scoring his fourth and Epel Kapinias, Marcus Stock and Glare scoring the others and Meadows was on the mark with all his conversions to complete the victory. Just before the last play of the match, Epel Kapinias and George Roby were sent to the sinbin for fighting.
