The first furnished suite has been completed in a £36 million Salford office block that received international praise for its environmental design.
Eden is a 12-storey sustainable office block in New Bailey, featuring Europe’s largest external “living” wall and is one of the country’s greenest buildings.
Home to 350,000 plants, the building’s striking green façade has been hailed as an example of how design can enhance an area’s biodiversity and the health of locals.
And the developer group ECF say they are delighted to have completed construction work on a 5,134 sq. ft workspace within the office block they hope will entice a small to medium-sized business to move into the Salford area.
Laura Percy, development director at Muse, said: “The completion of Eden’s first fitted and furnished suite is a pivotal moment for both the building and ECF.
“The demand in the market for spaces like the one we’ve created is increasing, and we saw an opportunity to give growing businesses the option of moving to Eden while also enabling them to limit relocation and infrastructure costs so they can reinvest more of their resources into operations and ultimately support growth.

“Eden remains a trailblazer within the property community – standing as an example of how thoughtful placemaking can have an incredible impact on the surrounding area and for those who occupy it.
This move-in-ready workspace offers a range of benefits, all designed to foster collaboration, enhance well-being, and promote productivity.
Eden provides an environment where teams can thrive from day one; every detail has been considered to support modern ways of working and create a vibrant, future-ready workplace.”
Located at the heart of the New Bailey business district, Eden is a five-minute walk from Salford Central train station and a 10-minute walk from both St Peter’s Square and Deansgate Metrolink.
The building garnered national attention when its living wall was installed and contains more than 32 plant species in its exterior, ranging from strawberries to bluebells.
