1. Kersal Wetlands

Whether you’re keen on birdwatching or just want a quiet escape, this natural reserve is perfect for reconnecting with nature. The Wetlands is just off Littleton Road with views of the skyline of Manchester, the woodlands of Kersal Dale and the lovely River Irwell. 2. Media City

4. Peel Park

The space regularly hosts a park run, perfect for those who want a more active morning, and upcoming regeneration project is expected to combine craft with creation. Within close distance of The Atmosphere Bar & Kitchen, it offers a great chance to grab a drink and sit in the sun. Peel Park is packed with plenty of shaded areas, sports facilities, and walking paths, making it perfect for a leisurely afternoon.

 

5. The New Oxford Beer Garden

For those who enjoy the sun and socialising, the New Oxford Beer Garden is a must-visit. Grab a pint, soak up the rays, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, ideal for a summer evening with friends. Just a short walk outside of both Salford and Manchester city centre, it is in a prime location for a lovely drink in the sun.

 

6. Cadishead and Little Woolden Moss

7. Clifton Country Park
