A man from Salford has been charged after police found guns and ammunition buried in the back garden of a home in Eccles.
A shotgun, handgun and ammunition were dug up from under the garden of a house on Crowngreen Road in Eccles in a 12-day search of the property by police.
David White, 57, of Crowngreen Road, has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm, one count of possession of ammunition, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and possession of Class B drugs.
Greater Manchester Police said he has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court today (22 July 2026).
