Three years on, Salford remembers the Manchester Arena bombing

It’s been exactly three years since the Manchester Arena bombing, in which 22 people lost their lives.

People in Salford have been posting messages of remembrance on social media.

The bombing happened after an Ariana Grande concert at the arena.

Sympathies were expressed by Paul Dennett, Mayor of Salford, amongst other government officials.

There are moments of silence planned throughout the day, so that people can reflect upon the incident and remember all of those who were affected, numbering in the hundreds.
