Salford City have expanded their partnership with one of the country’s leading health and wellness retailers.

Holland & Barrett has reached an agreement with the club that will see its branding feature on a sleeve of the men’s, Lionesses and academy team shirts from 2026-27 onwards.

The new deal comes amid a major club rebrand from red to orange.

Last season, the club’s supporters voted overwhelmingly to change the team’s primary home shirt colour back to orange, having played in red since the Class of 92 arrived in 2014.

77.1% of fans chose to roll back the years and reinstate orange as the club’s primary colour for the upcoming season – and preparations are well underway to ensure the makeover is complete in time for the opening game of the League Two season in August.

The Peninsula stadium has been given a lick of orange paint and Peter Cklamovski’s side will turn out in their new orange kits in pre-season, with the Holland & Barrett sponsor on the arm.

The leading British health and wellness retailer first partnered with the club in December 2025 and provided the first-team squad, academy and women’s team with products to aid their recovery.

Salford City said the original deal would directly benefit more than 120 young academy players.

The club said the new partnership will see the retailer regularly interact with the community, engaging with supporters throughout Salford.

Salford City CEO Gavin Fleig hailed the move to provide fans with greater access to wellness expertise, nutrition advice and products.

He said: “We’ve seen our partnership with Holland & Barrett develop and strengthen throughout the past six months – offering our players, staff, and fans access to unrivalled wellness products, nutrition advice, and expertise from the cutting edge of science.

“Nutrition sits at the very heart of high performance and both physical and mental wellbeing. So what excites us most is Holland & Barrett’s understanding that individual health and performance are driven by both consistent daily habits and a person-centred approach.

“We’re hugely grateful to have them on board and are excited to see the partnership flourish further in the months and years ahead.”

Anthony Houghton, Chief Executive of Holland & Barrett, said the partnership had been taken to the “next level.”

commented: “Over the past six months, we’ve seen first-hand how closely our ambitions align with those of Salford City, so we’re delighted to be taking our partnership to the next level. This partnership is about much more than football.

At Holland & Barrett, our purpose is to help people live longer, better, and Salford City gives us a fantastic opportunity to bring that purpose to life.

“Together we’ll combine trusted expertise, accessible products and services with the power of the Club to inspire healthier choices, support performance and help drive community wellness across Salford and beyond. We’re excited about what we can build together over the coming years.”
