Salford City defender Ollie Turton has signed a new one-year deal.
The Englishman follows in the footsteps of the five new signings that Salford have acquired this summer so far, and puts pen to paper on a fresh new deal, which will retain his services at the Peninsula until July 2027.
Turton was brought through the door from Huddersfield Town in August 2025, and has amassed 47 appearances across this period, becoming a stalwart throughout a mostly positive campaign.
A goal in a vital 2-0 home win over then League leaders Bromley coincided with Turton’s impressive 500th senior career appearance towards the back end of last season.
The Right-Back moves forward into a new-look Salford City, and will prepare to represent the City in its much-favoured return to the club’s original orange colours, along with executing the ideas of a new manager, with Peter Cklamovski stepping up to the helm.

Having represented Crewe Alexandra, Blackpool, and Huddersfield Town across a 15-year career before arriving at the Peninsula last summer, Oliver Turton looks to write his latest chapter in the orange of Salford City’s bold new era.
Upon signing his one-year extension, Turton said: “I’m really happy to sign an extension and stay at Salford for another year. After coming so close last season, we want to go one better this time.
“Pre-season has been really good so far. It’s been great working with the new manager, getting to know the new players and staff, so we feel like we’re in a good place. We’re looking forward to getting back to playing in front of the fans.”
