MANCHESTER United have been drawn at home against Londoners West Ham United in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.

A single goal from Juan Mata proved enough for Jose Mourinho’s side in what was a close derby encounter with Pep Guardiola’s much-changed Manchester City side at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

West Ham United dominated London rivals Chelsea to win 2-1 and ensure it is they who book the trip North to Old Trafford.

Liverpool and Arsenal also have home draws for the second successive round after wins over Tottenham and Reading respectively on Tuesday evening.

Premier League strugglers Hull City will host Newcastle United after the Magpies hit fellow Championship side Preston North End for six in the rout.

Full EFL Cup draw:

Arsenal v Southampton

Liverpool v Leeds United

Hull City v Newcastle United

Manchester United v West Ham United

The ties will take place on the week commencing November 28.
