Salford City Lionesses carry on their unbeaten run with a stunning 9-0 victory over Rochdale AFC Ladies.

The Lionesses, who haven’t lost a game yet and have only conceded two goals all season, managed to put nine goals past Rochdale Ladies last night.

A stunning four goals for Feiruz Abdullahi, a hat-trick for Phoebe Duckworth plus goals from Abby Bennet and Belle Ainscough sealed the emphatic victory.

The newly formed Salford women’s team are soaring at the top of the league with five points between them and second place Barr Hill Ladies.

Last nights impressive win has just added to a long list of high scoring games, which include a 13-0 win, and a 11-0 win on top of their previous game against Bolton Lads & Girls Club who they battered 16-0 which featured an excellent double hat-trick for Abdullahi.

The Lionesses face Rochdale for the second time this week away on Sunday in the league and will be hoping to secure another victory in order to carry on their good run of form.

If their excellent form continues for the remainder of the season, the Lionesses will be looking to be promoted into the North West Women’s Regional Football League.
