Christmas shoppers flocked to MediaCity to support local businesses and celebrate Christmas at the annual makers market on Saturday.

There was a wide variety of stalls for the locals to visit, ranging from baked goods, to jewellery, to mulled wine.

The market had plenty of things for children to enjoy too as there was a Santa’s grotto and hot chocolate.

Roxana, who runs Bouffage Patisserie, Tyldesley, said: “I want to create a community where people can talk with us and know more about our delicious patisseries and how we can serve them more.

“I think it wouldn’t be Christmas without a Christmas market. It’s the place where people come together, support each other and give you that Christmassy feeling.”

This was Roxana’s first time holding a stall at a Christmas market but she will be attending more in the coming weeks.

Christmas music was nonstop and added to the already festive atmosphere.

The Christmas market in MediaCity will be on everyday 11am to 9pm until December 22.
