The body of a woman in her 20s was found after a large police presence at Salford Quays, yesterday morning.
Swarms of police arrived at Salford Watersports Centre at 8:20am yesterday morning (Tuesday 20 December) after a welfare concern.
A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: “After emergency serves attended the scene, the body of the woman was found.
“There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.”
