The New Adelphi Theatre at Salford University is set to showcase Matilda Jr. the Musical this November.

Eccles pupils aged between six to 16 from Miss Joanne Farnell School have been casted to perform in the musical on November 9-11. The local students have apparently worked hard to bring this production to life.

Miss Joanne stated: “We have a lot of talented children who are having the best time ever performing in this musical, we have put our hearts and souls into making it a great experience for them all.”

Specialising in weekly ballet, jazz and tap classes, Miss Joanne Farnell school of dance aspires towards instilling enjoyment and passion into dance.

Pupils are regularly participating in local theatre entertainment with annual productions at the Salford Dance festival at The Lowry

She states: “We are proud of out genuine family ethos at the dance school, and many of our older pupils are encouraged to support the very young pupils and have the opportunity to gain teaching experience supporting classes along with myself and Miss Danielle.”

Following the recent success of ‘Matilda the Musical’ students for Miss Joanne’s Farnell School of Dancing have been inspired to bring this classic production to locals.

Director, Mark Rosenthal has expressed their anticipation, stating: “It’s not to be missed, the children are fantastic.”
