A new festive comedy, which promises a ‘disastrous’ take on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, is set to visit Salford ahead of its West End run.

This November, The Lowry Theatre will welcome Mischief Theatre with their new festive fiasco Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.

From the creative minds behind The Play That Goes Wrong, and The Comedy About Spies, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong will open its’ UK tour at The Lowry from Sunday November 2 to Saturday, November 9, before a stretch at the Apollo Theatre in London.

Written by original Mischief members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is anticipated to be brimming with the satirical comedy, malfunctions and mishaps that the company are known for.

Encapsulating chaos and humour; miscommunication, set delays, and actors feuds are just a few ways Mischief Theatre guarantee this debut play will ‘go wrong’.
