Beyond The Music will take a trip across town from Manchester to Salford for the first time in 2026.
The three-day event aims to galvanise creatives, experts and voices from music to put Greater Manchester, and in particular Salford, at the forefront of industry conversations.
With tensions around the rise of AI at the epicentre of music, the 2026 event at MediaCity will feature an All Content AI Summit hosted by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, a founding member of Beyond The Music.
This will be assessing the future of music and creativity with AI regulations.
The summit will aim to bring together people from all walks of the music industry in ethics with AI and their ever-changing regulations debate.

The Mayor has been an advocate for wider music industry involvement within Greater Manchester, with the BRIT Awards taking place at the Co-op Live for the first time in 2026, alongside the MOBOs in the same venue.
Media City is already host to major events like Sports Personality of the Year, which brings in star names from across British sport.
Beyond The Music will utilise the world class facilities in Media City, with Dock 10 and wider Salford venues set to be incorporated into the three-day event.
“Over three days, attendees will explore the pressing challenges facing the industry and find solutions, while spotlighting innovative talent and ground breaking artists.”
Tickets for the event are on sale now.
