A body was found in the water at Salford Quays by Greater Manchester Police, this morning.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 10:30 this morning (9th November) after a welfare concern was reported. Emergency services attended and the body was found.
A statement by Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 10.30am this morning, police were called to a report of a concern for the welfare of a person in the water in Salford Quays.
“Emergency services attended, and sadly a body was found.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
