Eccles-based Barton Theatre Company will perform a new production of Mr Wonderful later this month.
Mr Wonderful, written by James Robson and directed by Marit Schep, is a comedic tragedy set in 1990s Manchester, following the tender story of two women as they experience loneliness, longing and the hope of connection.
Heartfelt and humorous, Mr Wonderful explores love and romance through a series of twists and turns as protagonist Norma seeks to fill a romantic void in her life as she cares for her mother Phoebe.
Filled with relatable comedy and a sense of earnest hopefulness, Mr Wonderful explores the human desire for love and connection while brimming with hilarity and nostalgia.
The production will run at Eccles Town Hall, on the corner of Church Street and Irwell Place, from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 May.
Mr Wonderful will be performed at 7:30pm each night with an additional matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 23.
The bar will be open 45 minutes before and after each performance for the chance to meet the cast behind the production.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for concessions, and are still available online or to be sold on the door.
