CURZON Ashton have today announced the capture of Brighouse Town attacking midfielder Ryan Hall and young striker Jonny Higham.

Hall joins from Evo-Stik Division One North club Brighouse Town, where he played a crucial role in their rise up the pyramid, making 175 appearances and scoring 65 goals.

He was at Brighouse Town since 2012 after impressing the management following a series of open trials.

An 18-year-old Higham completed the Nash’s week of transfer activity having joined following his decision to part company with the youth set-up at Crewe Alexandra.

He is described in the club’s statement as a quick centre forward with a super attitude.

Both players possess real pace and that is certain to have been a factor in the Tameside club’s decision to bring both players in as their squad takes shape.

Fans are particularly excited at the prospect of Hall as he was Brighouse Town’s club top scorer in 2014/15 from a midfield berth which bodes well ahead of the new campaign.

Higham and Hall follow Iain Howard, Jack Truelove, Paul Ennis and Michael Potts in joining John Flanagan’s side for the new campaign.

The club are all set to announce a comprehensive retained players list over the course of the weekend following the week of new signings.
