Nursery chain director Nicola Fleury says she is ‘thrilled’ to have been recognised as Greater Manchester’s Business Person of the Year.

Nicola is the owner of five nurseries in Salford and has received an outstanding Ofsted.

“I’m really thrilled: I’m really excited about it,” Nicola said, speaking about her delight at winner the award.

“And to collect the award from the Greater Manchester Business Awards was just absolutely amazing.”

At Kidzrus nurseries, Nicola says all staff aim to create a safe, friendly, educational, caring and fun environment, whilst providing a wide range of play and interactive experiences to help encourage child development.

Nicola has praised her colleges, expressing her delight at how the award has brought recognition for the entire team.

Nicola hopes that this award will help bring more recognition for Kidzrus, stating: “There seems to be a lot of people speaking about it, and we’ve had lots of positive comments.”

She says she is eager to continue providing the best possible childcare in terms of children’s learning and development, whilst ensuring every child is having fun along the way. She also has plans to help increase awareness of staff wellbeing across the workforce.

Additionally, Nicola is developing her latest venue in Monton, which first opened only three months ago.

She said: “It’s a beautiful, picturesque village, and we’d just like to welcome more families into our Monton setting.”
