Salford has had 1,830 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SIXTEEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,830, an increase of SIXTEEN

BURY: 1,597, an increase of SEVEN

BOLTON: 2,397, an increase of FORTY

ROCHDALE: 2,268, an increase of SEVEN

OLDHAM: 2,929, an increase of TWENTY TWO

TAMESIDE: 1,950, an increase of TWENTY ONE

STOCKPORT: 1,983, an increase of FIVE

MANCHESTER: 4,312, an increase of TWENTY EIGHT

TRAFFORD : 1,703, an increase of ELEVEN

WIGAN: 2,329, an increase of SEVEN
