There has been much contrast in the fortunes of Salford City’s loanee players so far this season with Odin Bailey top of the league but Callum Morton struggling for minutes at Forest Green.

Odin Bailey’s Stockport County faltered slightly in their form as they were held by National League Aldershot Town and Salford City. County are still top of League Two with Bailey registering one goal and three assists in 13 games.

Meanwhile Callum Morton has scored three in six for struggling Forest Green Rovers as they sit 23rd in League Two. The 23-year-old has struggled to put together a run of games in the South-West but has shown good value to the side in his goal contributions.

Marcus Dackers was on target as he scored from close range for Altrincham in their 6-1 rout of Solihull Moors in the National League. It was the Centre Forward’s first game for the club as they notched an impressive result in their pursuit of a promotion spot at The J Davidson Stadium.

Other loanees include Djuvan Pedro who is yet to make an appearance for Warrington Rylands despite joining the day before a game. The young forward will be hoping to make a strong impression before the loan expires on January 1 when he will be looking for a longer loan to build experience.

With the fixtures starting to pile up as we enter the festive period, Neil Wood and the young players he has got out on loan will be hoping they can play plenty of minutes.
