BUDWEISER have teamed up with Uber and Helen Mirren to create an ‘uber’-informative drinking campaign this December – recruiting Facebook and Snapchat to deliver a responsible message to UK viewers.

Budweiser’s advert runs across Sky channels and cinema from December 1 to December 31; supported by over 3,500 posters across the UK.

The 60-second “Don’t Be a Pillock” advert begins with the Oscar-winning actress introducing herself as an uncensored, straight-forward British lady – dumbfounded by the act of drink driving.

This blunt approach acts as a wake-up call, and encourages planning for the upcoming festivities, aimed specifically at Christmas Eve, 2016.

The Department for Transport were involved as part of their support for their THINK! Christmas drink driving campaign – securing a coveted spot at the Super Bowl.

Uber is an online transportation network company, which operates on an app that allows the public to request a taxi with a touch of a button.

The previously announced partnership will offer free rides to new Uber users throughout the period of December; using the promotional code BUD2016.
