Salford Lionesses made club history as they beat Sale Ladies 6-0 to see them through to their first ever club final.

The team, who have been active, since May 2018 have already made a name for themselves in the women’s game having enjoyed much success in the league, often racking up scorelines reaching the double figure mark.

Now it’ll be up to Salford to see if they can secure their first bit of silverware in their first season having already kept an astonishing 100% win ratio across all competitions.

However it’ll be no easy fixture for the Lionesses who will face the equally inform Langho Ladies who showed no mercy to their semi-final opponents Bolton Lads & Girls Club in an impressive 8-0 victory.

All eyes now turn to the final which is scheduled for Sunday the 12th of May, where everyone will be watching to see whether Shauna Duffy and her team can finish this first cup run in dream-like fashion and make football history.
