Salford has had 5,236 confirmed cases of Covid-19, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN.

Salford Royal has seen an additional two deaths in the last 24hrs.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 5,236, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN

BURY: 4,161, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY

BOLTON: 6,831, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY ONE

ROCHDALE: 5,311, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE

OLDHAM: 6,108, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX

TAMESIDE: 4,550, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX

STOCKPORT: 4,478, an increase of ONE HUNDRED

MANCHESTER: 14,026, an increase of THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY NINE

TRAFFORD: 4,012, an increase of NINETY SEVEN

WIGAN: 6,101, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO
