As a former professional fighter and British lightweight Total Combat Champion, Will Burke is used to a challenge but has the Salford MMA fighter has swapped manipulating limbs to manipulating broken locks as a locksmith.
After spending years in the ring, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu veteran is now a local locksmith with the company Northwest Lock And Key.
Will’s interest in locks started when a friend in his MMA gym introduced him an unusual hobby – lock picking. As a result he began working as a locksmith whilst still in training in 2019.
Will said: “I love what I do, and I work hard to be the best at it. Bringing the same competitive attitude and work ethic into locksmithing has definitely helped me in that regard.”
Within just three years, Will was many times the most five-star reviewed locksmith on Trust A Trader in Greater Manchester and beyond.
Will had hundreds of postive reviews of his work and boasts a 100% success rate to date.
He has some rare skills in his toolkit, having honed his skill in the art of cracking safes, a skill very few locksmiths excel at.
