A Freddie Mercury tribute act is set to perform in Seedley this Saturday.
Terry Gray, also known as Terry Mercury, is set to host ‘Freddie vs the 80’s’ this upcoming weekend.
Terry has performed everywhere, from seasons abroad and cruise ships to sausage and cider festivals and Seedley on a Saturday night.

Terry Gray used to do general music across the world, but wanted to perfect his solo act. He said: “I wanted to specialise, to do something that I actually enjoy, like Queen and I do, I love the 80’s too.”
This is the first time Terry will be performing in Salford, bringing Queen to Salford for the first time ever. He is both a Freddie Mercury and 1980’s tribute act.
The night will be full of 80s icons, with tributes to rock band REM to the iconic Elton John, alongside the Queen frontman.
Terry is originally from Liverpool, but has been gigging around the UK for the past two years.
He said: “I have been a Queen fan since I was about 12.”
Terry’s love for Queen adds the extra wow factor to his performance and highlighted how important the performances are to him.
The 80s-themed night starts at 8:30pm on the 15th of November at Weaste and Seedley Social Club, M5 5JL. Attendees can expect up to two hours of nostalgia, as Terry said: “Usually I do an hour of Queen and 45 minutes to an hour of 80s.”
This is a paid event, with tickets ranging from £3 for members to £5 for non-members.
Fancy dress is always encouraged when Terry performs, to channel “your inner Freddie”, or maybe you’d prefer to go full 80’s neon?
He said: “It’s not just another one bites the dust, it’s the night that’ll rock you all night long!”
