Following an appeal, a suspected male has been arrested after an increase in bike thefts from Salford University.
Last week Salford officers released CCTV stills on Facebook of three youths inside a bike shed, one of whom is holding a pair of bolt croppers.
In the footage, the suspects were seen to take three bikes.
The Salford South-East neighbourhood team posted today (February 16) stating they have arrested and interviewed a male on suspicion of theft.
They also thanked the community for the continued support with the appeal.
