The police search for a missing Salford man has intensified after three days have passed since his disappearance.

The man, named only by Greater Manchester Police as Mehmet, went missing from Manchester City Centre on October 21 at around 1:50pm.

According to a social media post by the GMP, the 60-year-old was last seen near Primark wearing a dark grey tracksuit, black cap and white trainers.

He was also wearing a beige body warmer and had a left-hand crutch to help with his walking.

Mehmet has white hair and a white beard, with balding towards the top of his head.

Anyone with any information about Mehmet’s location or condition should call 101, quoting log 3690 of 21/10/23.
